We offer two programs for MBA students, the Management Associate Internship Program and the Associate Managing Consultant Internship Program. Our programs provide first-year MBA students with a 10-week internship owning a high-impact project that offers learning and growth opportunities. Internship program at a glance
What is it? 
The Mastercard Intern Program is a comprehensive program where students will gain hands on real work-life skills while having fun and contributing to a global company. As an intern, you will be challenged with completing projects that will enhance your skills, as well as contribute to the department's goals and objectives. ​​​​​​​
Why it matters?
Mastercard Internships not only enhances talent, promotes self-confidence, and connects employees in enriching ways, but it also immerses new talent in our 'Doing Well by Doing Good' culture. This program is meant for those who dare to be greater and those who wish to make a real impact in the world.
What to expect?
Across the program, you'll jump into experiencing work and life at Mastercard while gaining valuable professional experience and opportunities to network. As an intern, you will work on impactful asssignments that drive business results but also get involved in volunteering and team building experiences.

  • We're looking for students who are currently enrolled in College/University working towards a bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent), and are due to complete their studies the following year

Associate Managing Consultant Internship Program
  • Demonstrable management consulting, financial services and/or retail experience
  • Excellent client management & engagement management skills
  • Experience with project management and clear delegation, task ownership, and task management 
  • Experience using data analysis or querying tools (e.g. SQL, SAS, Excel or Tableau) is an asset (particularly for Business Experimentation tracks)

Our internal educational platform offers plenty of resources, spanning from personal development to deep dive training on Mastercard's product and services. I have also enrolled in a year-long data literacy course as part of Mastercard's partnership with Multiverse, a professional apprenticeship program. This has provided a great opportunity to build knowledge in data analytics tools and obtain a Level-3 Data Technician certificate. ​​​​​​
